BCHL exhibition is now online
Wednesday, August 8, 2012 - Submitted by BCHL Media

The exhibition schedule for the 2012-13 BCHL season has been finalized and is now posted under the 'Scoreboard' tab on this website.

First up is a pair of games on Friday, August 24 as the Surrey Eagles host the Langley Rivermen and the Victoria Grizzlies play the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

There are several neutral site games on the agenda as BCHL teams play in different rinks around the province. The Trail Smoke Eaters play a pair of games against the Prince George Spruce Kings in Chase on Aug. 28 and Aug. 29 while the Hope & District Rec Centre hosts a Merritt/Chilliwack game Aug. 29.

Also, the Wenatchee Wild of the North American Hockey League will make a tour of the BCHL as they visit the Vernon Vipers (Aug. 25), the Salmon Arm SilverBacks (Aug. 26), the West Kelowna Warriors (Aug. 31), the Penticton Vees (Sept. 1) and the Langley Rivermen (Sept. 2)

Prince George is making a trip to Alberta for an Aug. 31 game against the Grande Prairie Storm. They will then host the Storm the next night, Sept. 1 at Prince George Coliseum.

Langley hosts two games at Aldergrove arena - Sept. 1 against Coquitlam and Sept. 2 against Wenatchee. Coquitlam plays an Aug. 28 game against Chilliwack at Burnaby Winter Club.

The first four regular-season games are on Friday, Sept. 7 at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack as part of the inaugural BCHL Showcase.
