Vipers forward Martin signs on with Quinnipiac for 2014-15
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 - Submitted by Vernon Vipers
The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce that rookie forward Craig Martin has committed to Quinnipiac University for the 2014-15 season.

"I'm very excited, the campus is very nice and the guys are great, it was just the right feeling" said Martin.

Martin will join a few former BCHL products on the Bobcat roster which currently includes former Vipers Connor and Kellen Jones who are enjoying a great junior campaign.

Vipers head coach and general manager Jason Williamson feels that Martin's best days with the team are still ahead.

"His best hockey is yet to come," said Williamson. "He's a guy we're going to lean on as soon as he's healthy down the stretch and into next season."

Martin becomes the fifth Viper on the roster to secure an NCAA scholarship.
