Clips veteran forward Kramer heading to Brown
Thursday, January 3, 2013 - Submitted by BCHL Media/Nanaimo Clippers
The Nanaimo Clippers are pleased to announce Kyle Kramer has committed to attend Brown University in the fall of 2013. Kyle will be suiting up for the Bears who play in the NCAA’s Division I Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

“We are very excited to officially make this announcement today," said Clippers head coach Mike Vandekamp. "Kyle deserves this opportunity as much or more than any athlete I have ever worked with. His dedication, commitment, and perseverance have paid off and we are very proud to see him make this commitment today.

Kramer, a native of Qualicum Beach, has been a consistent offensive producer and durable member of the Clippers. In 199 career games, he has recorded 75 goals and 76 assists to go along with 329 penalty minutes.

“We would like to congratulate Kyle on joining the Brown Bears and look forward to continuing to work with him the rest of the way this season."
