Surrey Eagles defenceman Linden Saip will play for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds next season.
Saip spent the last season and a half with Surrey and played 81 games for the Eagles. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound blueliner accumulated nine goals, 25 assists and 119 penalty minutes in that time.
A Surrey native, Saip played two-and-a-half seasons with the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL before coming to the Eagles.
