APF commits to Tigers for 2013
Tuesday, April 24, 2012 - Submitted by BCHL Media

Chilliwack Chiefs defenceman Alexandre Perron-Fontaine has accepted a scholarship to Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for the 2013-14 season.

The native of St. Mathieu de Beloeil, Que. turned in a three-goal, 17-assist campaign which was his first in the BCHL.

Perron-Fontaine becomes the eighth Chiefs player to accept a college offer this season. RIT has drawn heavily from the BCHL in recent seasons and had nine league alumni on their roster this season. Current BCHLers Josh Mitchell, Rajan Sidhu and Daniel Schuler are also commited to RIT.

RIT plays in the Atlantic Hockey Association of NCAA Division I.
