FROM NOV. 3: Magnus stopped 66 of 67 shots in a pair of Powell River home wins over Nanaimo. The Montreal product made 37 saves for 1st Star in a 3-1 win Halloween night and followed with a 29-save shutout, his lone goose egg of the season, where he also was named 1st Star. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound netminder committed to NCAA Div. I Sacred Heart University for the coming season.
