The British Columbia Hockey League and its member teams are committed to making positive contributions in the communities where we play and live. With this goal in mind, the league developed the BCHL Cares program.

In countless instances each year, our teams partner with local and provincial charities to give back. As well, the BCHL considers public service and community service to be two of the most vital aspects in developing good players and great people.

Each season, the BCHL's Read and Succeed program connects our players with children in classrooms around the province to promote to importance of literacy and education.

To learn more about the BCHL Cares program and the league's commitment to community involvement, please contact our League Office.

Surrey Eagles players visit a local elementary school as part of the BCHL's Read and Succeed program.
