The Powell River Kings are seeking a Head Trainer/ Equipment Manager. Certified Athletic Therapist preferred. Valid industrial first aid ticket minimum, team will provide funding for training over the summer if necessary. Previous sports team experience on the bench and in the dressing room preferred.

 

Position Description:
 

·        Attend all practices and games

·        Maintain and order medical supplies

·        Work directly with players and team physician

·        Communicate with coaching staff on injuries and progress

·        Dressing room organization and management

·        Order and maintain all equipment

·        Skate sharpening

·        Daily laundry

 

The ideal candidate will have previous training experience in hockey. A highly motivated and organized individual who wants to be part of a proud and respected program and work with dedicated athletes in a fast paced environment.
