Each year, over 350 BCHL players begin a season-long quest to be crowned British Columbia Hockey League Champions and to hoist the Fred Page Cup. The 2012-13 season was another one in which BCHL teams achieved a high standard of play with outstanding coaching and training bringing league-wide parity.

The Surrey Eagles came out on top of what was perhaps the best Fred Page Cup finals in the last decade with a 4-2 series edge over the Penticton Vees. Adam Tambellini's double-overtime winner delivered the Fred Page Cup in what was the only road win of the series. The Eagles made good on their Ron Boileau Memorial Trophy win as the top team in the regular season.
