Each year, over 350 BCHL players begin a season-long quest to be crowned British Columbia Hockey League Champions and to hoist the Fred Page Cup. The 2011-12 season marks the 50th in league history and will again present a challenging path to win one of the toughest tournaments in Junior A hockey.

The Penticton Vees won their second Fred Page Cup in five years with a 4-0 series sweep of the Powell River Kings. Goalie Chad Katunar was named 1st Star in Games 2 and 4 while Travis St. Denis and Joey Benik each had two goals and two assists in the four games. It was a fitting result for the club after they established BCHL regular-season records for wins (54), consecutive wins (42) and points (110).
