JOHN GRISDALE - Commissioner |
Following a successful National Hockey League career, John became a partner in FCI Insulation Systems Ltd. and Tasman Industries Ltd., where he spent 18 years as Sales Manager. John was also a partner and President of Enerpro Systems Corporation, an energy management company from 1998 to 2000 and President of esportsdesk.com from 2000 to 2001. Before joining the British Columbia Hockey League as Commissioner, John was General Manager of Canlan Ice Sports Burnaby 8 Rinks. John attended Michigan Technological University on a hockey scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1971. Upon graduation he turned professional and played with the Toronto Maple Leafs (1971–74) and the Vancouver Canucks (1975–79).

TREVOR ALTO - Executive Director |
A native of White Rock, B.C., Trevor worked in the finance industry with RBC and Bank of Montreal prior to coming to the BCHL in August of 2012. He is responsible for building the BCHL brand and enhancing player development and andvancement in and beyond the league. Trevor also handles all league disciplinary decisions and works with officiating director Derek Adams to ensure the long-term effectiveness of the BCHL Officiating Program. Trevor's playing background includes seasons with the Prince George Spruce Kings and with the Crowsnest Pass Timberwolves of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Trevor attended the University of British Columbia and played three seasons for the Thunderbirds, graduating with a degree in sports management and commerce. He sits on the board of directors for the UBC Men's Hockey Alumni Society and is president of the Notre Dame Educational Society of B.C.

BRENT MUTIS - Director, Communications |
Brent joined the British Columbia Hockey League in December 2010 to handle all media services, manage website content and perform editor duties for Smart Hockey Magazine. Brent's previous experience took him to the Salmon Arm Observer and the Vernon Morning Star where he was a sports, education and news reporter. Prior to that, he was the web broadcaster for Minor League Baseball's Vancouver Canadians for one season and for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds mens baseball team for three seasons. From Port Coquitlam originally, Brent is a graduate of both the University of British Columbia and of the journalism program at Langara College.

DEREK ADAMS - Director, Officiating |
Derek became the BCHL Director of Officiating in November 2010 and oversees the league's officiating program. A former Level 5 official, Derek refereed in the BCHL for 15 seasons before becoming a league supervisor 2003. Derek has also refereeed in the PIJHL, WHL and CIAU (now CIS). He moved to Vancouver from Brandon, Manitoba in 1986 to attend the University of British Columbia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education. In 1990 Derek joined the Vancouver Police Department where he was a front line patrol officer for 13 years. He became a detective in the Special Investigation Section for 6 years and is now currently assigned to the VPD Traffic Section. Derek is married with 3 children (2 sons and a daughter)

HENRIETTA WOO - Office Manager |
Henrietta joined the British Columbia Hockey League in 2007 and coordinates the office’s accounting operations. A Saskatchewan native, Henrietta moved to the west coast after graduating from Reliance College in Regina. She is married with a son and two daughters, and in her leisure time enjoys painting, gardening and travel.
